[Pre-Order] Jade Gross Chiguita 2025

This is the 5th vintage of this wine. 2025 is marked as a very humid year with the battle against powdery mildew a constant worry during late spring and summer. We were able to salvage loose and healthy grapes but lost yields affected the final volume for this wine. The Viura and the Garnacha blanca are sourced from limestone-clay soils scattered around Labastida; they bring minerality and depth to the wine. The youngest of them all, the Tempranillo blanco, is sourced from the valley of Alto de Najerilla; and always gives us high proportion of fruit to the blend. Finally, the high altitude Malvasia, from Rivas de Tereso, gives the final blend a crunchy texture. Over a one week period, the grapes were hand harvested separately following their maturation period. The musts were cold decanted and then transferred separately to 500-liter barrels and a flextank. The wines matured for 6-months alongside weekly batonnage. Production bottle: 2980 bottles
