Attributed Barovier & Toso Chandelier, Italy, c. 1950 Sculptural chandelier attributed to Barovier & Toso featuring a rope-form hand-blown glass element surrounding a double leaf-form diffuser concealing the light source. Brass fittings and connection joints accent the composition, while the canopy is executed in a matching smaller leaf-forms bowl design. Elegant Italian modern form with a strong architectural presence. Materials: “Hand-blown textured frosted glass, brass” Dimensions: 37 in H overall (top of canopy to bottom) 7 in D 16.5 in W Leaf element: 9.5 in H 8.50" W Condition: Minor wear throughout consistent with age and use. Small chip to the interior canopy edge at metal connection point; not visible when installed. Fully functional and presents well.
