Tinned Fish Trio
A trio of our favorite tinned fish from around the world, ideal to enjoy with our Elephants Sea Salt Crackers for a luxurious treat. Fangst Blamusuling No. 1 Limford Blue Mussels: In the cold water of the Danish inlet Limfjorden, ‘blåmuslinger’ (blue mussels) grow slow to acquire a particularly fine taste and texture. Most of them are then shipped off to foreign kitchens but some we keep for ourselves. These Fangst mussels have been smoked with beech wood and preserved in cold pressed rapeseed oil. Ati Manel Small Scallops in Caldeirada Sauce: Made in Portugal these small tender scallops are bathed in a rich tomato sauce reminiscent of the beloved seafood stew from the Iberian Peninsula, Caldeirada. Ati Manel Spiced Mussels in Pickle Sauce: Made in Portugal these mussels are an irresistible blend of garlic, onions, olive vinegar, tomatoes combined in a delicious spicy marinade.
