Ghungroo Socks

Ghunghroo is a pair of black socks scattered with tiny ghunghroos and deep crimson beads — small markers of nazar placed across the body. With every step, the sound of nazar plays in motion. Inspired by the supernatural presence of the otherworldly feminine, Ghunghroo turns sound into a sign. The crimson beads carry the language of protection, absorbing the gaze, while the ghunghroos carry the sound of repelling — a warning heard before the wearer is seen.
