2024 Sea Smoke "Botella" Pinot Noir

Sea Smoke has become one of the defining producers of the Sta. Rita Hills, crafting estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that showcase the region’s cool-climate character and coastal influence. The 2024 Botella Pinot Noir offers a fresh, approachable introduction to the Sea Smoke style, sourced from vineyards neighboring the estate and named for the mineral-rich Botella soils found throughout the appellation. Produced with earlier harvest dates, gentler extraction, and less new French oak, Botella emphasizes bright red fruit, freshness, and elegance while maintaining the polish and quality for which Sea Smoke is known. The result is a vibrant, expressive Pinot Noir that captures the essence of Sta. Rita Hills and is enjoyable upon release. “Limpid soft red color. Fresh and bright aromas of raspberries, red cherries, chaparral, and bouquet garni are mimicked on the palate, together with vanilla bean and a touch of toffee from French oak.
