Aster 'Professor Anton Kippenberg' Plant

Also known as Symphyotrichum novi-belgii 'Professor Anton Kippenberg', this is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial, up to 45cm high, with lance-shaped green leaves. Clustered, daisy-like, semi-double lilac-blue flowerheads, with yellow discs, are borne in late summer and autumn. Thrives in fertile, moist but well drained soil in sun or partial shade. Plants will benefit from mulching in autumn, and division every few years to maintain vigour. Will not tolerate waterlogging in winter. Live Plant
