Ghanaian Hand Carved Wooden Crocodile ‘Blue and Green’
Exclusive to AARVEN, this unique two-tone variation on the traditional Ghanaian Crocodile Mask has been hand carved from false rubber tree wood by Abdulai and his team in Ghana. The crocodile form carries a deep significance in West African tradition — a symbol of power, adaptability and the bridge between worlds. The geometric carving — rows of precise triangles across the body, ringed eyes and a pointed tail — is the same technique used across our full Ghanaian mask collection. The blue and green colourway is hand painted on each individual piece. A beautiful addition to a gallery wall, a children's room, or anywhere that needs something quietly extraordinary. Particularly good paired with anything from AARVEN's green or blue home edit. Hand carved from false rubber tree wood Hand painted with water-based paint in teal blue and deep green Made by Abdulai's team in Ghana Ready to hang Wipe clean with a damp cloth; avoid direct sunlight and damp Also available in mustard & orange and fluoro pink & white. WHO MADE YOUR CROCODILE MASK? Our Ghanaian masks are produced by a small group of carvers led by Abdulai (pictured) in Accra, Ghana's vibrant capital city. Read more about our Artisans here.
