This range combines robust accessibility engineering with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Designed for use with shower trays, it features a single door and bi-fold doors — both operable from either direction thanks to AKW's unique rising butt two-way hinges. The Silverdale Option B range is only available with a height of 900mm, width of 1420mm X 700mm and frosted PET glazing. However, you can choose whether it is left or right handed and an L-shaped curtain rail and standard shower curtain are both included. Frames are engineered from high-grade aluminium with nylon 6 hinges and caps throughout, keeping weight low while ensuring long-term durability. Compensators provide 14.5mm of in/out wall adjustment on either side, accommodating minor wall irregularities without fuss. A magnetic closure strip and profiled floor seals deliver reliable water retention, while ergonomic D handles and smooth latches make operation straightforward for users with limited grip or dexterity.
