American Art Deco Birdseye Maple Vanity Cabinet or Dressing Table, Circa 1930

This elegant American Art Deco vanity cabinet or dressing table was made circa 1930. Beautifully handcrafted with birdseye maple veneer over a solid wood frame, the cabinet features clean geometric lines, balanced proportions, and a restrained modernist design characteristic of the early Art Deco period. The richly figured birdseye maple veneer is complemented by its original black wooden pull handles and contrasting black plinth base. Designed for both function and versatility, the cabinet transforms into a vanity and writing surface by lowering the hinged front panel and raising the hinged top section to reveal the concealed mirror. Flanking the center section are matching side compartments, each fitted with two open shelves above an enclosed cabinet with two removable shelves below. Both a decorative statement piece and a functional cabinet, suitable for use as a vanity, dressing table, bedroom cabinet, writing cabinet, or compact storage cabinet. Handwritten workshop or assembly numbers remain on the reverse. CONDITION Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use and a rustic, antique appearance.
