52.5mm PL4040 PIR Insulated Plasterboard 2.4m x 1.2m

The 52.5mm PL4040 PIR insulated plasterboard is a two-in-one thermal laminate comprising a 40mm rigid polyisocyanurate insulation core bonded to a 12.5mm tapered-edge gypsum plasterboard. It provides effective insulation and a smooth dry-lining surface in one board, reducing the need for separate installation stages and helping to save time and labour on site. Suitable for internal walls, pitched roof slopes and flat roof linings, the board can be direct-bonded to suitable masonry using an appropriate plasterboard adhesive or mechanically fixed to timber battens and studwork. Its thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and thermal resistance of 1.85m²K/W make it a practical choice for new-build and refurbishment projects requiring improved thermal performance without an excessive internal build-up.
