Etruscan Revival Turquoise Drop Earrings

DATE: Victorian, c.1861 This cool pair of Etruscan Revival earrings are set with vibrant turquoise cabochons amongst lovely scroll, pommel and ornate details. Crafted in yellow gold throughout, each earring features a "starburst" top, where the open worked main event hangs freely below. Each one is topped with five gold pommels, leading to the crescent of three turquoise stones and gold pointed scroll work. They look fantastic worn, with great movement throughout, dropping over 1.5 inches from the ear! They have remained in great condition, with marks dating them to the year 1861- and they feature screw backs.
