Level 2 | Hand-building Term | 12 weeks

Hand-Building Level 2 Term is designed for students ready to develop a more considered approach to making. You'll develop: • Advanced construction techniques • Surface decoration using oxides, underglazes, carving, and texture • Sketchbook work and maquette making • Personal projects through experimentation • A cohesive collection of finished work Ceramics is a lifelong craft. Many students repeat Level 2 while developing their own creative voice. Completing this course fulfils the required teaching hours for eligibility to apply for Throwing Shapes studio membership.
