This is a wonderful Smith Corona Clipper typewriter in a good working order and has a nice typing action. It was made in the Belgium for the UK market in 1957 and has an all metal body in a light pastel green colour with off white keys and carriage knobs. It has the Smith Corona logo to the front and the Clipper logo on the carriage and the standard elite sized typeface with 12 letters or characters to the inch. There are some minor marks and discolouration to the paintwork mainly at the back and on the left side of the ribbon cover, but generally it's in a wonderful condition. This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on. We can supply Universal or Group 9 typewriter ribbons from £9.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and in a range of other colours on Universal spools. You can drop these into the machine or rewind onto the metal Corona spools that are already in the typewriter. It comes with a black coloured case and the typewriter locks in place for transit and it has a sound external catch and handle. The case has some signs of wear mainly on the outside to the exterior covering over the wooden case. The typewriter measures 30 cm x 32 cm x 12 cm.
