Apocalypse Rose — Letters from the End Textile Tote

I spent a lot of time on the details of this bag. The surface is built with layers of faded cream, dusty rose and brown fabrics, mixed with lace, loose cords, knots and visible hand stitching. I kept the folds, uneven edges and different fabric textures instead of making everything too neat. Some of the fabric edges are lightly singed with flame, leaving natural darkened marks along the edges. The three roses are made completely by hand from layers of fabric, then stitched onto the bag one by one. Each rose has a slightly different shape and tone. A lot of what I wanted to put into Apocalypse Rose is already in these small details, so please take a close look at the product photos.
