Vintage 1940s Hungarian White Rayon Floral Embroidered Smocked Peasant Blouse. Referred to as Kalocsa Blouse or Matyó Blouse. Silk like lustrous rayon that has a drape to it. And hand embroidered cotton colourful flowers at front bib and shoulder sleeves. Smocked zig zag in same colourful threads. Somewhat extendible because there is no elastic. Gathered scoop neckline with keyhole tie closure. Short puff sleeves and blouson effect at body. In excellent vintage condition. Washed and restored to near perfection. Has a couple of marks but nothing else. Please refer to pictures and check measurements. Fits a size SM. Chest across: 22" Body Length from neckline at shoulder: 21" Sleeve length from centre back: 15"
