The Filipinas Journal of Science and Culture (5 Vols.)

The Filipinas Journal of Science and Culture was a large-format quarterly published by the Ayala-backed Filipinas Foundation from 1981, gathering commissioned essays and full-page photography on Filipino science, art, and folklore, from the Philippine Eagle and Sulu coral reefs to Bencab's prints and the rice lore of the Cordilleras. Bound in green cloth stamped in gold with a color photograph mounted on each cover, it ran only a handful of issues before continuing as Pilipinas, which makes a matched run of the early volumes uncommon.
