The Pentair Pentek 151120 OR-34 O-ring provides a watertight seal between the cap and sump of compatible filter housings. Constructed from flexible, abrasion-resistant FDA-grade Buna-N rubber, it is an essential replacement for an O-ring that has become flattened, cracked, stretched or damaged. Before installation, clean the O-ring groove and apply a light coating of food-grade silicone lubricant. Make sure the O-ring is seated evenly and is not twisted or pinched. Tighten the housing sump only until it is securely sealed. Over-tightening can damage the O-ring or make the housing difficult to open during the next filter change. Important: Confirm the housing model or existing O-ring part number before ordering. This O-ring is not designed for Big Blue filter housings.
