Kinahan’s The KASC Project [B] Blended Irish Whiskey 43%

Aged in hybrid casks constructed from 5 different trees – Portuguese oak, American oak, French oak, Hungarian oak and Chestnut. Re-Tasted: Jun 2026 The nose is dark and toasty with noticeable Hungarian oak. Hints of red fruit, dusty tannin, vanilla and wheaty grain spirit. Quite bold and oaky (obviously) with the some grippy French oak but the American oak begins to dominate. The palate also opens with the dark Hungarian oak, vanilla and soft wheaty grain. Red fruit, apricot, ginger and apple follow, along with some building toasty French oak on the middle. Quite grippy and a little tannic but spicy finish with lingering vanilla, French oak, malty and chewy winey fruit.
