Individually, they are two functional tea cups. Stacked together, they form a complete Hu Lu 葫芦 — a traditional symbol whose pronunciation echoes Fu Lu 福禄, meaning blessings, prosperity and good fortune. More importantly, the pair represents harmony without sameness — 和而不同: two individual vessels, complete on their own, yet becoming something greater when brought together.
