Henrik Purienne — Tasjaki, Dream Baby Dream
Created around Purienne’s collaboration with Tasjaki (Natasja Madsen), the publication develops the visual language that has made his work instantly recognisable: soft natural light, intimate distance and images that feel effortless while remaining carefully composed. Rather than presenting a traditional photographic narrative, the book builds an atmosphere that unfolds gradually through sequencing and rhythm. Throughout its pages, portraits, interiors, coastlines and fleeting gestures come together to create a world suspended between reality and imagination. The photographs avoid direct explanation and instead rely on mood, sensuality and emotional ambiguity. The result feels closer to fragments of memory than to documentary photography.
