Lavender Field Mini Hoop Kit – PRE-ORDER

Lavender Field is a beautiful 4" mini hoop design filled with softly stitched lavender, delicate wildflowers and grasses, all set against a gorgeous blue and purple batik background. The batik does much of the work for you, creating the impression of a hazy landscape and distant fields before you've even made your first stitch. Layers of cotton perlé embroidery are then added to build the lavender and foreground flowers, creating a wonderfully textured little piece. There is no appliqué or complicated construction – the design is created entirely through hand stitching over the batik background. It's a wonderfully relaxing project for beginners while still offering plenty of interest for more experienced stitchers. Your kit includes: 4" wooden embroidery hoop Batik fabric Calico Cotton perlé threads Needle Felt for finishing the back of your hoop Full instruction booklet with stitch guidance Everything you need is included, so you can simply open your kit and start stitching. As with all Hannah's Room designs, your Lavender Field doesn't need to be identical to mine. Vary the height of your lavender, add an extra flower or change the placement of your grasses.
