Fisher & Paykel Airvo2 Nasal High Flow System [Used]

The Airvo 2 is a humidifier with integrated flow generator that delivers high flow warmed and humidified respiratory gases to spontaneously breathing patients through a variety of patient interfaces. A blower inside the Airvo 2 entrains flows of room air of 2 - 60 L/min, which may be blended with oxygen from low- pressure sources (such as flowmeters). The air-oxygen mixture is then warmed and humidified in the water chamber, before being transported through the heated breathing tube to a nasal, tracheostomy or mask patient interface. The Airvo 2 is for the treatment of spontaneously breathing infant, child, adolescent and adult patients who would benefit from receiving high flow warmed and humidified respiratory gases. This includes patients who have had upper airways bypassed. The flow may be from 2-60 L/min depending on the patient interface. The Airvo 2 is for use in hospitals and long-term care facilities by appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
