2025 Reserve Orange Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaking: Warm and dry season. Open, airy canopies, concentrated power-packed berries, full of flavour. Our Bellview vineyards brought the power with finesse. Classic Cabernet in style. Ripe tannins, long maturation on skins, then elevage for 12 months in tight grain French oak barriques. Good fruit, deft hand and patience. Tasting Notes: Colour | Vividly intense red-purple Bouquet | Dark cassis fruits, dried herb and violets. Notes of graphite and toast from maturation in French oak. Palate | Detailed and complex with dark briary, blueberry fruits and well-judged oak useage. Tannins are supple, long and seamless, showcasing a great year off the warmer Bellview site. Pairs well with: Meat | Grilled ribeye with red wine-shallot butter and roasted bone marrow. Seafood | Pan-seared duck-fat scallops with pomegranate reduction. Vegetarian | Wild mushroom and truffle ragout over parmesan polenta. Vegan | Charred eggplant steak with miso-balsamic glaze and quinoa pilaf.
