He'd bought his own Tyrolean hat years earlier, on a trip through the Alps, and later gave one just like it to a little worm who would become one of his most enduring characters. Scarry kept creating in and around Busytown for the rest of his life, working from a small studio in Switzerland, and today his son Huck carries the stories forward, including new adventures for Lowly Worm himself.
