Muttrah Corniche
The first time we visited Oman we visited the souk along Muttrah Corniche. There was so much to take in. Like most visitors, we walked this seaside boardwalk for the views of the bay. However, turn your head and enjoy these 18th century wooden merchant houses. It was several trips later that I finally took time to do a small sketchbook watercolour on location of these beautifully constructed white washed buildings which you can see here. This is one of several watercolours I’ve painted that capture old Muscat. Available in larger sizes. Please enquire art@alanreed.com
