The Temensis Peacock Bass is one of the largest and most impressive members of the peacock bass group. Known for its elongated body, powerful feeding response, and dramatic adult coloration, Cichla temensis is a true monster-fish centerpiece. At approximately 7 inches, these juveniles are at an excellent grow-out size. As they mature, Temensis Peacock Bass undergo dramatic changes in pattern and coloration and can eventually become extremely large. They require spacious aquariums, heavy filtration, warm water, and appropriately sized tankmates. This species is best suited to experienced monster-fish keepers prepared for its considerable adult size. Approx.
