This single cask offering from Glenglassaugh has spent half of its ten years maturing in a sticky sweet Sauternes Hogshead, offering up a rich and intense profile. The nose opens up with aromas of stewed sultanas, digestive biscuits and sweet toasted oak. to taste, there are bold sweet notes of demerara sugar, gooey caramel sauce and tangy apricot marmalade with allspice and ground ginger lingering on the finish.
