Attibuted to Thomas and Stephen Goddard Newport, Rhode Island Circa 1790 Primary Woods: Mahogany, Satinwood Secondary Woods: Maple, Pine Reference: Ethel Hall Bjerkoe, The Cabinetmakers of America, plate XXV, no. 2, shows a similar table made by Thomas and Stephen Goddard at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Other tables of this group include a pair at the Rhode Island Historical Society, Providence, Rhode Island ( See Joseph K.
