Description Get the flexibility of 3D-printed pulleys or other printed parts without relying on plastic alone to transfer torque. 3D Printing ("3DP") Hex Inserts are designed to reinforce the bore of 3DP HTD pulleys and other printed parts, providing a durable aluminum interface between your print and a standard 1/2" hex shaft. Machined from high-strength 7075 aluminum, these inserts help prevent the hex bore of a printed part from rounding out, stripping, or deforming under load while also maintaining a lighter design in comparison to steel.
