Sterling Silver Phosphoderite and Pearl Earrings

The color of these Phosphoderite stones is hard to put into words. Somewhere between vibrant orchid and soft lavender, they seem to shift with the light, making them feel both bold and delicate at the same time (hard to capture in a picture). It's the kind of purple that quietly catches your eye and keeps it. I wanted the setting to echo their natural shape, so I hand-formed sterling silver wire to follow each graceful teardrop. The stones are set on sterling silver backplates with fine silver bezels, and finished with a silver hoop holding three freshwater pearls that sway with every movement. Every detail is made by hand in my studio, making these earrings completely one of a kind. They're feminine, elegant, and just a little unexpected, my favorite kind of jewelry.
