Cherry Vine Tomatoes

Grown by Chris Joy at Ringwould Farm, near Deal in Kent, and grown without insecticides. Dinkies are small mixed tomatoes, picked ripe rather than picked to travel, and they taste like it. Sweet, with enough acid behind it to keep them interesting. Eat them warm, never from the fridge, halved into a bowl with salt and good oil and left five minutes to weep. That juice is the dressing. Tear in basil, mop the plate with bread. Or roast them hard and whole until they collapse, then fold through pasta with garlic and nothing else.
