Edwin Hernandez - Gesha Washed
A Beautiful Expression of Santa Bárbara Santa Bárbara has become one of the world’s most respected coffee-growing regions through the dedication of its producers and the work of Beneficio San Vicente. We sourced this coffee through Benjamín Paz and Ariel Gómez, whose commitment to quality and long-term relationships has helped bring some of Honduras’ finest coffees to specialty roasters around the world. This coffee comes from Edwin Hernández’s farm, El Regadillo, where Gesha is grown at approximately 1,300 meters above sea level. Carefully hand-picked at peak ripeness, the coffee is traditionally washed and dried on raised beds to preserve its clarity and elegance. From the first time we cupped this coffee, we were stunned by its elegance, clarity, and complexity. It’s a beautiful expression of both the Gesha variety and the unique terroir of Santa Bárbara, and we’re excited to share it with you.
