This 9ct gold turquoise brooch features a greenish-blue turquoise cabochon set at the centre of an intricate interwoven knot design. Substantial in the hand at 5 grams, it has a warm gold colour with a subtle rose-toned hue. The knot is formed from multiple ribbed gold strands, with decorative collar detailing where the centrepiece meets the long bar. A strong sprung pin curves around the reverse and secures through the looped catch, giving the brooch its distinctive traditional construction.
