Subtle sandalwood and spice drifting through behind - fragrant, precise, and quietly inviting. PALATE - Strawberry and red cherry lead with freshness and intensity, pepper threading through alongside tangy acidity and soft, elegant tannins. The mouthfeel is velvety and considered, the finish lingering with real persistence. Concentrated, bright, and built with the kind of focus that only low yields produce. NOTES - A second consecutive year of punishing yields on the Mornington Peninsula, and again only one Pinot Noir to show for it. All clones picked within a week and fermented together with wild yeasts - a single, unified expression of a difficult season. The result is intensely flavoured, pure, and structured for the cellar. Like its predecessors, this wine will reward patience.
