Terryn Prestige
Beglian piece of history. A Terryn Prestige frameset. Charles Terryn was a former Belgian professional cyclist who raced form 1943 to 1960. After his career, Charles took over his father’s cycle shop. Terryn was settled in Anderlecht (near Brussels). In 1960 Charles Terryn became a mechanic for the Carpano team, with Rik Van Looy. After that, he moved on to Faema, GBC, Solo and finally Willem II. He had a close association with Belgian cycling legend Eddy Merckx. Charles Terryn was Merckx’s mechanic, and Merckx himself was a customer at Terryn Cycles from a young age. In the late 1960s and 1970s, Terryn Cycles was the leading bike shop in Brussels and the surrounding region. Size: Seattube 56CC. Toptube 55,5CC. Rearspace 126mm.
