Your custom map necklace has a unique abstract design, each one is custom made based on your chosen address, city or co-ordinates. It could be where you grew up, where you met your partner, your first home together, the place you got married in, or just somewhere in the world where you left your heart. Subtle, abstract, discreet - only they know what it means. Choose from solid sterling silver, 18ct yellow gold plate, or 18ct rose gold plate to match your style. How We Create Your Street Map Necklace Each map is made in 1.5mm thick solid sterling silver and engraved to order, they take about 2-3 days to make, depending on if you want a proof or not. The reverse side can be engraved a message making it a truly unique piece. -Your street map or location is custom drawn to order from google maps. We crop it to fit the round pendant as nicely as possible. -If you require a proof select this from the drop down list and add contact details; this may delay your order. We are happy to work with you to make improvements within reason before we do the engraving. - The simplified map is oriented True North and will contain surrounding roads. - Each map will appear different to the next, so the finished look will depend on the location and the size of pendant you choose. - If your location is close to the ocean we have created a stylised 'water' pattern - see images for examples. - If you have ANY CONCERNS about how your map will look please request a proof as we cannot accept returns once your necklace is made. What It's Made Of Each pendant is 1.5mm thick solid sterling silver & measures 15mm across. Optional 18ct yellow or rose gold plate is available. All our chains are made in the UK from solid sterling silver and come with a secure clasp. Chains measure from 1.1mm - 2.3mm thick.
