ELLA® HOPS Australian Hops Ella delivers soft floral aromas and fragrant spices reminiscent of a noble variety. Ella™ can also be used in large doses for more intense grapefruit and tropical flavors to balance heavier malt bills and strong yeast characters in many beer styles. HIGH OIL!! Previously called Stella, Ella™ Ella and Galaxy share the same mother, but Ella's father comes from Spalt giving her a noble edge. Work best in lagers and pilsners, but also works with pale ales and IPAs. Dry-hopping or whirlpool additions will preserve some of the light, tropical fruit oils.
