Our distilling/turbo yeast strains — pick your strain from the dropdown below. 24-Hour Turbo Yeast — Mixture of dry distiller's yeast and yeast nutrients designed for super-fast fermentations that produce high alcohol content. 48-Hour Turbo Yeast — Urea-free. Ferments sugar up to 20% in 5–7 days, or up to 14.5% in 48 hours. Produces premium quality wash. Fruit Turbo Yeast (urea free) — Used to ferment all-fruit or fruit-sugar mixes up to 18% ABV. Best results with at least 50% of sugar content from fruit. Rum Turbo Yeast (urea free) — Use with molasses-sugar wash fermentations up to 15% ABV. Red Star DADY — Distillers Active Dry Yeast, a specially selected Saccharomyces Cerevisiae strain designed for grain mash fermentations. Need to ship with an ice pack?
