B-RSCO2-C - Bionet Sidestream EtCO₂ Sensor
Item Description The Bionet Sidestream CO₂ Sensor continuously measures end-tidal CO₂, inspired CO₂ and respiration rate using a low sample flow of 50 mL/min. With the CO₂ sensor positioned away from the patient’s airway, only the lightweight sampling connection attaches to the breathing circuit. Designed for use with the Brio XVet Series, the Bionet Sidestream CO₂ Sensor supports respiratory monitoring during anesthesia, recovery, emergency care and other procedures requiring continuous assessment of ventilation. The Bionet Sidestream EtCO₂ Sensor is compatible with Bionet Brio XVet Series. Intended Use: To monitor vital signs in veterinary patients (feline, canine), including: EtCO2 Key Features Fast: Displays the capnogram in less than four seconds and reaches full specified performance within 30 seconds at 25°C. Low-Flow: Uses a sampling rate of only 50 mL/min, helping minimize the amount of gas removed from the patient’s breathing circuit. Versatile: Adult/pediatric and infant/pediatric sampling options support a broad range of veterinary patient sizes and clinical applications. Accurate: Dual-wavelength non-dispersive infrared technology provides continuous CO₂ measurement across a range of 0–150 mmHg. Airway-Friendly: The sensor is located away from the patient’s airway. Only the lightweight sampling line and airway connection attach to the breathing circuit. Anesthesia Ready: Supports operator-selectable anesthetic-agent compensation and host-controlled settings for oxygen, nitrous oxide, helium and barometric pressure. Low Maintenance: No routine user gas calibration is required. The sensor requires a zero procedure, preferably after a five-minute warmup, to establish an accurate baseline.
