Vintage 14k Sapphire & Pearl Horseshoe-Motif Pin

A gorgeous gemstone pin from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the front of this horseshoe-shaped pin is encrusted with alternating sapphires and pearls. The round cut sapphires, which are all prong-set, have an approximate total carat weight of 1.60ctw, and display a cornflower blue hue. The pearls, which are affixed to the pin via small screws, vary slightly in size. However, all of the pearls display a milky-white luster. The backside of the pin is smooth and simple, and features a pin clasp. A striking piece, this pin would make a special gift for any equestrian! Measurements: The pin has a total height of 1 1/4" and a width of 1 1/16". Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting, and all of the pins are intact and securely set. The pin clasp is secure and in working order.
