Two Tone Saree Pants
A statement fit which celebrates the Indian saree drape. Made with 40s count handspun and handwoven fabric and 60 gsm silk developed with weavers of Kashmir. Punctuated with a unique pattern of motifs created through a combination of ori nui and maki nui shibori. - Pants are handmade in 100% cotton. - Yarn handspun on a multi-spindle charkha, woven on a handloom is also called 'Khadi'. - The fabric is handwoven on a pit loom in Bengal." - 100% Silk drape. - Ori-nui and maki-nui shibori is created by stitching and tying the fabric. The resist motif is created through binding and capping on the fabric. - A dip dyed saree pant, with one section dyed in indigo and the other in black, creating a distinct two tone effect across the silhouette.
