Midleton Very Rare Chestnut Whiskey 700ml

Notes: Midleton Very Rare Irish Chestnut Edition is a distinctive limited release from the Rare Woods Collection, created to showcase the influence of native Irish sweet chestnut. The whiskey began its maturation in American oak barrels, with components aged for approximately 12 and 9 years before being brought together for re-casking. It then spent a further five years maturing in Irish Sweet Chestnut hogsheads sourced in partnership with Cappoquin House. This is a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, triple distilled at Midleton Distillery, bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered. The release is scheduled for October 2026 and is intended as a highly limited collector’s edition. The current reported bottling strength is 56.1% ABV
