Two paintings. Two beautiful messages. And lots of gorgeous colour, lotus flowers and gold leaf to play with. ✨🪷 In this detailed, pre-recorded workshop, we’ll create TWO complete Buddha paintings, Listen to the Universe and Happiness & Peace. I love these two together because they have completely different personalities. One is bright and joyful, with a glowing Buddha emerging from pink lotus petals. The other is deeper and more meditative, surrounded by beautiful leaves, lotus pods and soft white flowers. And of course, we’re adding plenty of gold! ❤️ Painting 1 : Listen to the Universe We’ll create a colourful, peaceful Buddha surrounded by beautiful pink lotus petals. We’ll play with contrasting warm and cool colours, soft blending, expressive splatters and gorgeous pieces of gold leaf. This painting is all about slowing down, quieting everything around you and simply listening to that little voice within. Painting 2 : Happiness & Peace For our second painting, we’ll work with beautiful blues and greens to create a much more earthy, calming Buddha. We’ll surround it with white lotus flowers, leaves, lotus pods and organic details before bringing everything together with texture, splatters and gold leaf. Throughout the workshops, you’ll learn: 🧘 How to paint two different Buddha faces step by step 🪷 How to paint lotus flowers, petals, leaves and seed pods 🎨 Blending and layering beautiful acrylic colours ✨ How to work with gold leaf and use it without making the painting feel overdone 🖌️ Creating depth with shadows, highlights and colour 💦 Adding splatters, texture and expressive marks 🌿 Combining portraits with floral and botanical elements ❤️ How to loosen up, experiment and make the paintings your own Even though both paintings look detailed, we’re going to take our time with them. I’ll break everything down into manageable steps and paint right along with you. Because these are pre-recorded workshops, there is absolutely no pressure to keep up.
