Edelrid PES Prusik Cord 5 mm (8 m)

The Edelrid PES Cord is a 100% polyester cord built for prusik loops, with excellent knotability, high abrasion resistance and low stretch — exactly what you want in a cord that has to grip a rope reliably. Its special sheath construction keeps it supple in the hand and easy to tie, while the braided polyester fibers resist abrasion, moisture and heat over repeated use. Available in 5 mm and 6 mm, covering the two classic prusik diameters: 5 mm for a lighter, more compact loop, 6 mm for extra grip and margin on thicker ropes. Both are also useful for tag lines, rigging and general gear attachment. EN 564 certified and made in Germany. Sold in an 8-metre length — enough to tie a prusik loop with length to spare — available in blue or black.
