Crafted as a tribute to founder Lorraine Ashmead, the Ode To Lorraine represents a classic Barossa blend where structure meets generosity. The 2022 vintage highlights old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon planted in the 1960s, tempered with the plush warmth of barrel-fermented Shiraz and a touch of Merlot. Tasting Notes: Lifted, vibrant cassis and just-ripe plum notes accented by signature bay leaf, sweet spices of cinnamon and clove, and subtle forest floor complexity. Powerful yet elegant on the palate, with fine, persistent tannins clinging to the fruit finish. Winemaking: 20 months in new and seasoned French oak puncheons.
