Dahlia 'Jowey Fantasy'

Four colours, countless combinations. Dahlia 'Jowey Fantasy' has a wonderfully imaginative approach to colour, blending creamy white, sunshine yellow, glowing orange and vivid red in flowers that seem to change with every glance. Each petal begins in warm yellow, develops rich red or orange markings and finishes with a delicate white tip. The result is a beautifully intricate pattern, with no two blooms looking quite alike. Some flowers are predominantly creamy yellow with soft peach accents, while others display bold flashes of scarlet. The tightly overlapping petals create rounded, almost ball-shaped blooms measuring approximately 10–12cm across. Bred in Belgium, Dahlia 'Jowey Fantasy' brings a lively mixture of colour and character to the summer garden. Those fascinating flowers make Dahlia 'Jowey Fantasy' particularly appealing for cutting, with strong, straight stems that hold the blooms beautifully in arrangements. Pair it with creamy dahlias, purple salvias or airy ornamental grasses, or let its changing colours take centre stage in a sunny border. Growing to around 80–100cm, Dahlia 'Jowey Fantasy' appreciates fertile, well-drained soil and a sheltered position, with support if needed. Water during dry spells and pick or deadhead regularly to encourage fresh flowers until the first autumn frosts. Start tubers under cover in spring or plant outside once frost has passed, lifting them for frost-free winter storage in colder UK gardens. With Dahlia 'Jowey Fantasy', the next flower is always a little surprise.
