Join us in Tank 4 for an immersive, hands-on workshop where you will create a jewel-like piece of botanical art that sparkles from every angle. This engaging session is perfect for exploring mixed media in a relaxed, inspiring environment. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your techniques, you will be guided through every step to ensure your artwork beautifully catches the light. What You Will Learn: Luminous Backgrounds: We begin by creating a patterned background using iridescent watercolours, capturing a metallic, pearlescent glow that beautifully shifts as it catches the light. Intricate Inkwork: Once your shimmering base is set, you will use fine-liner pens to "bloom" a flower directly over the top. Decorative Textures: Moving beyond simple outlines, we will focus on a variety of intricate markings and rhythmic patterns—stippling, hatching, and flowing scrolls—to give your botanical subject a rich, decorative texture.
