Vintage Zuni Sunface Inlay Squash Blossom Necklace Sterling 28″

Vintage Southwest squash blossom necklace in the Zuni channel inlay tradition, attributed to the 1950s–1970s. Twelve Sunface (Rainbow Man-type) figures take the place of traditional blossoms along a double strand of round hand-seamed silver beads. Each figure and the matching naja is hand-fabricated in silver and channel-inlaid with natural turquoise, mother-of-pearl, black stone (jet, untested) and red shell (spiny oyster or coral, untested). The naja carries a rainbow arc, with a Sunface inside and another at the top.
