Stainless Steel Elbow / Military Port Mouth Bit 5.5" - Bit1021a

This is a stainless steel horse bit, it has quite a dark patina but could be burnished back to a shine. The mouthpiece has a low port. The mouthpiece is faintly stamped, but the stamp is not legible. The cheeks turn. Each cheek has two possible slots for the curb rein - this feature made the bit "Universal Pattern", it was often used by the military.
