La Valentina Montepulciano d"Abruzzo 2024

This is the entry level wine from La Valentina. We have been working with the Riserva from this winery for several months now with great fanfare. This wine was a pleasant surprise. Deeply pigmented in the glass, with aromas of juicy red and blue fruits balanced by a savory nuance. It is fleshy and chewy on the palate with moderate acidity. There is much more here than the bottle would suggest. Valentina makes great wine, even at this price.
